2026 Confirmations
Dear Parents, Families, Catechists, and Cathedral Community,
What a grace‑filled celebration we shared yesterday as our young people received the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Holy Spirit was truly present among us, and it was a blessing to witness the faith, joy, and reverence of our candidates and their families.
On behalf of our catechists, who have lovingly journeyed with the children since 2024, I extend our deepest gratitude to each of you. Your commitment, prayers, and presence have shaped this milestone in the lives of our young people.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to our Cathedral Rector, Fr. Ralph, our parochial vicar, Fr. Lawrence, to our Pastor, Bishop Christian Riesbeck, and to our entire clergy for their spiritual leadership and for guiding our children into a deeper life in Christ. Your pastoral care continues to strengthen our parish family.
A special word of appreciation to the Cathedral media team, who captured the beauty of the day through photography. Your gift allows our families to treasure these moments for years to come.
We also extend our warmest thanks to our three Confirmandi who shared their witness so beautifully. Your words inspired all of us and reminded our parish community of the living faith of our young Church.
A warm gratitude to our Junior Confirmation families as well who came to partake and witness the beautiful celebration.
Our journey does not end here. As a Cathedral family, we warmly invite you to take part in the many ministries and apostolates that help nourish our faith and allow us to offer our time, talents, and treasure for the building of the Kingdom of God. Please reach out to any of our Cathedral teams to get involved — your presence and gifts make a difference.
To our entire Religious Education Team of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception — thank you for your dedication, your patience, and your unwavering love for our children and their families. Your ministry is a true blessing to our parish.
May the Holy Spirit continue to guide our newly confirmed as they grow in faith, courage, and love. And may God bless all of you who have supported them along this journey.
Blessings,
Genessa Piscos-Nagas
